چکیده
The thermal region of the electromagnetic spectrum might provide valuable information for assessing plant water status. Nevertheless, plant’s physiology and scale measurement, (e.g. sensor viewing geometry canopy aggregation) are critical quantifiying monitoring stress. This study compares Crop Water Stress Index (CWSI) a peach orchard obtained using on-the-ground, airborne-based temperature (Tc). temporal evolution CWSI under mild stress conditions was assessed three different irrigation strategies (over-irrigation, OI; farmer irrigation, FI; non-irrigation, NI). Two aerial campaigns per season (2017–2018) were performed with an airborne sensor: first flight well-watered conditions, second once developed. At time flights, Tc net photosynthesis (Pn), stomatal conductance (gs) stem potential (?s) measured on ground hand-held camera, portable gas exchange system pressure chamber, respectively. from averaging sunlit shaded parts canopy, agreed that derived measurements (Y=1.00X; RMSE= 1.97 K). values calculated both approaches detected status strategies. In general, ?s better predicted aircraft (R² up to 0.72 versus R2 =0.51 measurements), whereas use preferred estimating gs Pn 0.73 0.74 =45 0.56 aircraft). Regardless approach used deriving Tc, due consideration meteorological (i.e dates), provided relationship than latter more closely related Pn.

Relationship of water status to vegetative growth and leaf gas exchange of peach (Prunus persica) trees on different rootstocks.
We investigated relationships between tree water status, vegetative growth and leaf gas exchange of peach trees growing on different rootstocks under field conditions. Tree water status was manipulated by partially covering (0, approximately 30 and approximately 60%) the tree canopies on individual days and then evaluating the effects of tree water status on vegetative growth and leaf gas excha...
متن کاملAirborne Thermal Imagery to Detect the Seasonal Evolution of Crop Water Status in Peach, Nectarine and Saturn Peach Orchards
In the current scenario of worldwide limited water supplies, conserving water is a major concern in agricultural areas. Characterizing within-orchard spatial heterogeneity in water requirements would assist in improving irrigation water use efficiency and conserve water. The crop water stress index (CWSI) has been successfully used as a crop water status indicator in several fruit tree species....
متن کاملMechanical Harvesting Has Little Effect on Water Status and Leaf Gas Exchange in Citrus Trees
Mechanical harvesting of citrus trees can cause physical injuries, such as shedding of leaves, exposing roots, and scuffi ng bark. Although mechanical harvesting usually has not reduced yield, physiological consequences to the tree from these visible injuries have not been investigated. We hypothesized that physical injuries to tree canopies and root systems from a properly operated trunk shake...
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
the comparative impact of prompts and recasts in processing instruction versus meaningful output-based instruction on efl learners’ writing accuracy
the purpose of the present study was to see which one of the two instruction-processing instruction (pi) and meaningful output based instruction (mobi) accompanied with prompt and recast- is more effective on efl learners’ writing accuracy. in order to homogenize the participants in term of language proficiency a preliminary english test (pet) was administrated between 74 intermediate students ...
